The Bright Lunch Trio is a Canadian jazz-based group made up of a singer from the prairies, a guitarist from the maritimes and a bassist from the burbs.

Long ago, when singer, Whitney Ross-Barris flat-out lied to guitarist, Nathan Hiltz about being able to write songs, he quickly called her bluff. Six years, later as lyricist and composer, respectively, they release their first self-titled album (with the added mad skills and interpretation of bassist, Ross MacIntyre) as the Bright Lunch Trio.
